I’m baaack

Wow. It has certainly been a while.

Went through a rough, sort of stay away from everyone stage.

The good news is, I am now a full time working girl and thanks to this, I have the motivation to eat less - no binging -  and to eat healthy. :) (Most of the time)

foodfreemeansfatfree-deactivate asked: Hey there (: I’ve tried a lot of things to lose weight and, although I am currently struggling with EDNOS, I’m trying to do this the healthy way. I’ve lost about 15 pounds or so over the course of 2 months.

As far as food goes, I’ll eat any vegetables or fruits, fish, chicken, tofu, nuts, lowfat yogurt, rice cakes, egg whites, oatmeal, olive oil, coffee in moderation, dark chocolate for cravings, and vitamin supplements to fill in the gaps. I will NOT eat cookies, cake, doughnuts, milk chocolate, candy, ice cream, red meat, cheese, bread by itself (I’ll have a sandwich occcasionally), fried foods, mayonaisse, chips, fast food, sour cream, pop tarts, processed meats, butter, soda, or any beverage with more than 10 calories per serving. I usually only drink water (6-10 glasses a day) and green tea.

For exercise, I do 30-45 minutes of cardio everyday, except for Sundays, followed by toning exercises, mostly for my stomach. I do 8 minute abs (can be found on youtube) every night and I’ve been looking into spin classes and yoga, too.

I also keep track of my intake, output, and weightloss in general on caloriecount.about.com, and I find it helps me to weigh myself and take progress pics every Friday. If you choose to do this, make sure it’s in the morning because you become bloated throughout the day so the morning gives you your most accurate weight. Another thing I do to help stay motivated is to put up a piece of string with a knot at the end and, for each day I stay within my calorie range and don't eat my "banned" foods, put a bead on it. For each day I don't stay in range and eat "banned" foods, I take a bead off. When I fill up the string, I plan on giving myself a reward <--- incentive normally keeps me going, haha (:
